Deadlifts today!

Today felt good. Except the fact that it was so gosh darn humid! I was soaked at the end of my workout. Anyone else here lifting in a non AC powerlifting gym? You are guaranteed to sweat out a good 5 pounds. My groin felt fine, thank gosh. I went on a nice distance run last night so I think that helped. The shorter stride- longer distance runs help out a lot.

Warm up

reverse hypers w/ a band (3×10) X rope abs (3×20)

glute-hams (3×10) X land mines (3×10)

Lifting

High box squat– 535lbs 5 sets of 3

Block dead lifts- 390lbs 7 sets: 3-2-1-3-2-1-3

Band dead lifts- 315lbs with red micromini bands 7 sets: 3-2-1-3-2-1-3

Assistants

Sissy squats- 465lbs 3×10

leg curls X bent over rows 3×10

wide lat pulls X seated machine rows 3×10

Sled Pull
